  • Mini and micro-hydro
  • Tidal, Wave, sea or River Current energy
  • Geothermal and other RETs
  • Socio- economic aspects of RE
  • Policy matters

Author Instructions

ICDRET 2016 will cover all aspects of Renewable Energy. The topics of interest include but are not limited to-

  • Papers to be submitted in MS-WORD (DOC, DOCX) format
  • IEEE format must be followed
  • Must not exceed 6 printed pages
  • All the figures and diagrams should be in black and white

The authors should strictly follow the submission guideline; otherwise the paper may not be published in the proceedings. Special care should be taken for figures and diagrams. Please note that very thin lines, small captions or small/light symbols in the figures often do not appear clearly once printed in the proceedings. Make sure that the lines are thick enough, and captions and symbols are large enough so that they are reproduced correctly in the proceedings.

The registration form is available in ICDRET website. Fill in the form and send it to the Chairman, Technical Committee ( The registration fee should be submitted along with the registration form. In case of Telegraphic Transfer, please enclose scanned/photocopy of the invoice.

The registration fee for participants and authors:

Local participants BDT. 5,000
Local students BDT. 3,000
SAARC countries USD 200
Other countries USD 300

The bank draft or pay order is payable to the ICDRET. Local students need to submit a letter from the institution or department head to avail the reduced local student fee. Deadline for registration is December 1, 2015.

Presentation of papers

Multimedia PowerPoint presentation facilities will be provided at the conference venue. Once a paper is accepted, authors may send the presentation file by email or bring it in CD or USB storage devices. The deadline for sending the presentation file by email is December 1, 2015.
The total time for the presentation of each paper will be 15 minutes including question and answer session. So, it is advisable to keep the length of the presentation within 10-12 minutes. Presentation time for the papers will be strictly followed.
